Re: Printing to QL 700
Hello Jacques,
I am testing a Brother QL-500 from a fellow ham with RUMlogNG 6.4.3 and I got it to work but it was quite painful.
I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the Brother driver to work on MacOS 26.5.1. I installed a very, very old CUPS driver from MacOS 10.15 first.
In "Settings > QSL" selected Dymo (90mmx29mm) as this is the closest match to a standard mailing label (in USA) which is 1.14 x 3.5 inches. (this is the only label I had available for testing)
In RUMLogNG Menu > Edit > Page Setup I used "Standard Address Label". I was able to finally get the QL-500 to print QSL labels. I only printed a few of them because it does not belong to me but it did prove RL did work printing to the QL-500.
I will probably NOT use this solution going forward because it is very dependent on deprecated software (drivers). I will try to find a used Dymo 450 Labelwriter and hopefully avoid all these issues.
See attached screenshots.
