LoTW Indicator

Unread post by K6LE »

The idea of having an indicator for stations that are on LoTW is a good one. But, it seems that if the call has the period after it in the DX Spots window it won't transfer up to the log by clicking on it.

I was wondering why some calls didn't transfer properly and then I noticed that the ones that don't have the tiny period after them.

BTW, Spot handles this info by showing those spots in italics.

Here it works fine, I can't find an issue. Do you use the latest 4.3.2?

Yes, working fine here this morning too.

Seems like several things got messed up when I tried to use the F5 key for CW. Including not working from the keyboard but sending from the CW control panel.

After a reload of the program things are back to normal. (except still can't send with any "F" keys higher than F4 - I'll just use the control panel for them).

Apple recommends not to use the F keys in own applications. When you have configured your system to use the F keys for OS-X (Spaces, Exposé, etc), then these keys are not visible in RUMlog.

I have the "F" keys set to be regular "F" keys instead of special ones and F1-F4 work fine but none above that.

Not a big deal, I'll just use the CW Control panel

This is another story, you have also to disable all other short cuts assigned to the other F keys in your system
preferences.
