SpotToSunFlex duplicate spots

Unread post by EA4OR »

Hello all,

I am testing the new app SpotToSunFlex, it works but it generates duplicates of the Spots, as time goes by it generates many more duplicates. I have tried to change the priorities but it keeps happening. What am I doing wrong? I attach a couple of photos of my setup

Tks in advance

First at all: The functions of this app are integrated in RUMlog now since June 2022.

I haven't seen this before. The app just sends dx spot to the Flex, the spot management itself is under control of the Flex software. Do you have configured multiple dx-cluster sources?

Tom, thanks for your fast answer.

I am not using other dx-cluster sources. At least consciously.
I am a new user of SmartSDR and RUMlogNG, I am learning everyday, I need time to find my setup.
An example of this is that after my post I found the option to send the spots directly to my Flex from RUMlogNG without using the SpotToSunFlex app, now it is working better, only occasionally a duplicate appears.

Tks for your help ;)

The good thing is that the spots on bands are clickable to report the call in the log page. The best could be if same could be made on spots on panadapter. The combination of MacLoggerDX and dogparkSDR can do this, thus clicking on spot in panadapter the call is copied in the log page of MacLoggerDX. Soon or later also the combination smartSDR Mac and RUMlogNG will achieve this. That time the bands will be useless. I am confident on this.
Tu anyhow for this brilliant piece of software
