Automatic change scope edges selection for the IC-7300

Unread post by K0PIR »

Hi,

I am trying to use "Automatic change scope edges selection for the IC-7300"

In RumLogNG IC-7300 control I have checked "Set fixed edges according frequency"

My band edges are:
3.5 to 3.599
3.6 to 3.799
3.8 to 4.0

When I have the "Set fixed edges according to frequency" checked it automatically jumps to Edge 3. My radio freq. is set to 3.576, but it still jumps to Edge 3. If I click on Band Edge 1 it'll automatically jump to Band Edge 3, even when my radio frequency is 3.576. It stays on Band Edge 3.

I cannot get it to work when tuning up and down the band. The band edges do not change as I'm tuning.

I tried this on 20 meters too.

My band edges are:
14.025 to 14.070
14.071 to 14.150
14.225 to 14.350

On 20 Meters I can use the IC-7300 control to switch between band edges (unlike when I'm on 80 meters), however it still does not change band edges. I tune up and down the band and the screen does not change band edges.

Another thing I noticed and don't know if this is correct, the "QSY" button is always highlighted in the IC-7300 control. Even when I click on a band, it goes back to QSY. ??

Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting I'm missing?

Everything else seems to be working. I can turn things on and off from the IC-7300 control. I can switch modes, change bands, freq., etc.

Do the read outs below the Edge buttons show the correct selected values?
A screen shot of your settings would be helpful.

A highlighted button in macOS means always, that this is the currently default button. Just hit the Enter key to perform its action.

Seems to be a problem with the number format. Please check this and report:http://dl2rum.de/RUMlogNG/RUMlogNG_Test.zip

Thanks Rich for the feedback. You can still use this test version until a public update is available in the next few days.
