Hello Tom,
tks for your new RUMLogNG version 2.11,
Map with grid squares is indeed a wonderful idea. What misses now is a map with worked and confirmed grid squares.
Best 73 and tks for all.

David, you can get it:
Go to Menu-->Window-->Search QSOs
Press the button Expert Search
Enter this to to get all worked grids:Code: Select all
locator <> '' group by substr(locator,1,4)
Press the Search button
Mark all QSOs in the table (select the table and press cmd A)
Go to Menu-->QSO-->Show selected stations on map
To show all confirmed grids on 6m enter
Code: Select all
band = '6m' and (qsl = 'R' or qsl = 'X' or qsl = 'G' or lotwqsl = 'X') and locator <> '' group by substr(locator,1,4)
The needles show one station per grid, not the center

Hello Tom,
tks indeed for your instructions, now it is much and much better.
It is a must, at least to me, to see confirmed and worked grid squares.
Again tks a lot and best 73.

I see in the notes for 2.11 it says we can use 10 digits for the grid locator.
How can this be set to display only 6 or 4?

There are no options to set. It is just allowed to enter up to 10 digits into the logging field.

OK, well, in the Information window it automatically fills it in with 10 digits and that is transferred to the Log QSO field. . At least that's how it works in 2.12.

I certainly don't need 10 digits. 6 or even 4 is fine with me.

I will ad an option to limit the number of digits for data take over.
Will this be sufficient for you?
Options are. No limit, 6 digits or 4 digits Loc.tiff (24.84 KiB) Viewed 3906 times
