Problems with calculating DXCC

Unread post by k4jh »

I used the DXCC editor to enter a few callsigns and their DXCC entities, for example I added TO9R as FM. I then saved and reloaded into RUMlog.

RUMlog 5.1 originally considered TO9R as F, I told RUMlog to recalculate DXCC thinking it'd change it to FM, but it did not.

Am I missing a step?

This sounds okay.
  • Do you have multiple versions of the program and the "dxcc.rsd" database on your Mac? RUMlog uses the file in the same folder only.
  • Did you have saved your changes?
  • Did you have restarted RUMlog, or used the button "Reload in RUMLog" before you recalculated it?
  • The dates are correct? Note the format: YYYY-MM-DD
  • When all is fine, select the affected QSO line(s) and go to Menu-->QSO-->Recalc DXCC-->with Zones
In the logging mask enter the QSO date (select "Post QSO" from the popup below the date field) and type in the callsign. This should bring up the correct dxcc info.

When it is still not working, a screen shot of your entries would be helpful.

I had a mistake on the effective dates for TO9R.

Thank you for the prompt help.
