We are now at bug version 4.4.3 Tnx to the OMs, reported the failures.
It seems to me, all rendering problems in the html based windows are fixed. (Sun data, qrz.com) Please do an intensive test and report!

New: FT-950 confirmed functionally, use the FT-2000 setting

Bug fixes:
  • RUMrouter doesn't start now when not required
  • Some rendering failures in the Main Window removed
  • HTML based windows rendering failures removed - long history
  • K3 power indication corrected
  • All windows should show the Menu bar now

I have just tried the latest RUMlog, Tom. You have done a great job adding the PSK and RTTY functions to RUMlog, with CAT control for PTT! Wonderful.

I haven't used it in total anger yet, just tested the PSK and RTTY and had a quick look around (I need to be up early for work).

I am glad to say, all still works with my FT-450 :-)

I did notice when I switch to RTTY, the waterfall / spectrum display started flickering. It is fine if I switch back to PSK modes. I will try again tomorrow to be sure.

Again, RUMlog has just got better again! :-) Thank you Tom.

Re: RUMlog 4.4 - Apple Script question

Unread post by M0JEK »

Hello Tom,

Now that RUMlog 4.4.x has the capability of PTT via CAT, I was wondering if it would be possible to add Apple script support for the PTT control via RUMlog.
What I would like to be able to do is to have cocoaModem call an AppleScript program to drive PTT through the RUMlog CAT feature when I am using cocoaoModem in standalone mode, such as when I am using a modem which is not supported by RUMlog yet, such as Hellschreiber.
Another advantage of it this way is that one only needs the one serial port ... :)

Thoughts?

RUMlog 4.4.4 with PTT scripts

Unread post by DL2RUM »

Version 4.4.4 supports now PTT scripting. PTT scripts for cocoaModem were added. You have to configure the PTT in the Preferences under the Digi tab. The RTTY setting will be used when commanded by AppleScripts!

Download the application, including cocoaModem PTT scripts: http://www.dl2rum.de/rumsoft/RUMlogApp.zip
