Disconnect Radio

Unread post by K6LE »

Is there a way to disconnect from the radio without closing RUMlog?

There are times when I want to connect the radio to a different program such as the K3 utility without quitting RUMlog (or RUMped) but I haven't figured out a way.

Also when I try to edit a QSO if the radio is connected it changes the frequency to the current one even though I want to edit an older QSO for a different freq.

I solve that problem by turning off the radio but that's not the best.

You are writing about important thinks.

There is no easy way yet. As workaround you can set the Transceiver to NIL in the preferences, this will close the COM port. But to reconnect it, you have to change the settings again.
I will add a menu entry to disconnect the trx "on the fly".

Really, this is the way it works now, nobody mentioned this bug before. You have to take care in the Edit mode.

I will fix both issues in the next days.
