Silicon Labs driver for M1 MacBook

Unread post by n3fih »

I'm trying to install the USB-UART driver from Silicon Labs on my MacBook M1, and it seems like the driver is Intel only, and doesn't work with Rosetta. Googling around seems to confirm that. Is anyone using RUMLog on an ARM Mac? What's the workaround?

First at all make sure you really need this driver. Do you use a Yaesu with two virtual ports? The latest driver from the SiLabs page will work.
