Karl Heinz, K5KHK wrote an article how to configure RUMlog for POTA activations: http://www.khk.net/wordpress/2020/01/02 ... -for-pota/
Since this site is out of my control, find a copy attached.
Tnx Karl Heinz!

This was an excellent guide - one thing I noticed, however (not specific to this guide) is that RUMlogNG's ADIF export doesn't populate "STATION_CALLSIGN" or "OPERATOR" with normal ADIF export ("Export all QSOs as ADIF") ... in fact, my callsign didn't appear anywhere in the file.

However, if I selected QSOs to export and choose "Export Selected QSOs for special activity", a dialog comes up and I'm able to fill in those fields.

Shouldn't "Export all QSOs as ADIF" do that by default? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding.

I agree, this is a bit annoying. I use RumLogNG for my FT8/4 POTA activations and until I read that tip I always had to hand edit the ADIF file.

I never have been able to export from RumLogNG for POTA. I have put the POTA specific data into the user defined tags and no matter what I try they don't export.

How can I get these to export?

You have to put the information in to the logging mask!

How do I do that? I tried pressing the Set button.

Then I tried both exporting and exporting as a special event. My fields still don't show up.

Oh, I see. The logging mask is the upper screen.

You need to select them, above I've only selected two.

Note: this only applies to future logs, not past logs, which makes sense.
