Re: CAT Kenwood TS-590
You have to show us the full settings window.
Red band/mode text labels mean, there is no connection possible to the port.

Hi screenshot replaced by full window.
Re: CAT Kenwood TS-590
You haven't selected any port. Make sure the port is not busy by an other application. Are you sure about the flow control setting?

Re: CAT Kenwood TS-590
oeps that was my mistake. Due the testing unplugged the cable more than once.
Although Khz and Band are green now, I don't see the actual frequency. Not when changing frequency on the radio nor when changing bands.
related to the flow setting, tried all combinations. saw older web posts people used its its both

One hour try and error saves you ten minutes reading the handbook.

Re: CAT Kenwood TS-590
Sorry, read several manuals. Don't know where you referring to. Kenwood manual does not refer to flow settings with USB. Regular are none. Checked the DLRUM manual yesterday too. I might overlook something.
