IC7300 Audio Record and Playback to Radio

Unread post by fernando »

OSX 10.15.5
RumlogNB 4.7
Radio: IC-7300

Menu > Audio > Record to File
Input Device: USB Audio Codec
Output Device: USB Audio Codec

I can successfully record and playback in the mac through the speakers but I haven't been able to send the recorded audio through the radio.
I have tried recording it as voice keyer and replaying the audio recorded with the PTT activated but nothing goes out the radio.
I also tried activating the "switch PTT" in the Phone tab settings. In this tab I have set the "Settings for playback over the radio" to USB Audio CODEC. (The master level slider is disabled)

is there anything else I need to set up to be able to record and playback over the radio?

Thanks

Fernando.

Make sure you have enabled the USB input for voice. See menu Data Off Mod Input. When you use the voice keyer in RUMlog, RL can switch PTT and change the configuration for the Mod input. See the TRX setting.
When you want to play back a file directly from the audio recorder window, you have to take care of the PTT and Mod input by yourself.
