Help with Dreaded tqsl Sandbox Error!

Greetings,

I'm at my wits end and desperately need help to overcome the dreaded tqsl sandbox error.

I'm using RUMlogNG 4.5 (385) on a mid-2018 MacBook Pro running OS X 10.15.1 Catalina. I have tqsl v2.5.1 installed and it functions perfectly when run alone.

Background: I've had tqsl working successfully with RUMlogNG for a couple of years until a few months ago. In the past, it seems like every time I updated tqsl I'd encounter the sandbox error again. I always managed to fix it by resetting the path settings in RUMlongNG. Then about two tqsl updates ago, I was never able to get rid of the sandbox error.

I've made sure all the basics are covered such as:

1. Verified tqsl functions properly when run outside of RUMlongNG.
2. Reset the path settings in RUMlogNG dozens of times, both with and without tqsl running.
3. I changed the path settings in RUMlogNG to something else, exited, then came back and changed them to the correct path for tqsl.
4. The tqsl app currently resides in the path: "/HD/Applications/tqsl.app"
5. I've also tried putting the tqsl app in the path: "/HD/Users/username/Applications/tqsl.app" but that didn't help.
6. I've deleted and reinstalled tqsl.

Any suggestions on what I can try next?

Thank you and 73,

John

PS: In case it matters, I thought I should also mention I use a non-administrator account on my Mac for normal operations.

Pse post a screen shot of your LoTW setting tab and from the full error message.

Hi Tom,

As requested, the LoTW settings screen and the full error message are attached.

Please note that LoTW downloads (menu item "QSL -> LoTW in") works fine.

Thank you,

This is as expected and by design.

Your settings are looking good and I have no idea yet. Please try this version: https://dl2rum.de/RUMlogNG/RUMlogNG_Test.zip
I added a second error box, maybe this helps us a bit more to understand the problem.

OK Tom,

I deleted RUMlogNG and installed RUMlogNG_Test.

After clearing the usual sandbox error popup, there was a second popup beneath which showed this:

I look forward to your suggestions.

Sorry, still no idea. What happens when you log in as admin?

Sorry for the slow response Tom. I've been busy and haven't had time to try running RUMlogNG from my Admin account yet. This will require me to do a complete setup of RUMlogNG and tqsl in that account first. I'll report back on the results once I've done this.

I might also try to completely wipe RUMlogNG and tqsl (including all related files and folders) from my working account then reinstall them to see if that helps.

I guess, this will not help. BTW, RUMlog is located in your Applications folder?

Full path is: /HD/Applications/RUMlogNG_Test.app

I should also mention I recently tried granting RUMlogNG "Full Disk Access" in the Privacy settings, but this made no difference either.
