Use Name from previous QSO instead of QRZ data

Hello,
I use QRZ.com for a data source, have the query panel open and have "Use data" checked.

In Settings > Databases > Fill entries with data from previous QSOs I have checked Name

I created a new log with no QSOs.

• I enter a station's call and it is populated from QRZ in brown as expected. Say his name is listed as Richard
• The station sends his name as Rich, so I change that in the Name field.
• I log the QSO
• I enter the same station's call into the logging window
• Briefly I see the contents from my previous QSO in blue. Specifically the name Rich is in blue.
• Once the QRZ.com data loads, all fields are updated to QRZ values in brown. Specifically the Name field contains Richard in brown.

My expectation is that my Fill entries with data from previous QSOs selection should cause the autofill of name to use the name Rich from my log.

Am I misunderstanding that feature? If so, how can I avoid QRZ.com data taking precedence over previous QSOs for the Name field?

Well, currently qrz has the priority. I'm not sure what is better. Maybe I have to add an option?

Name seems like a field that is very useful to use from a previous QSO. Other fields are less obvious. Certainly if someone moves to a different area (state, province, DOK, etc) you wouldn't want to blindly copy the State value from a previous QSO. That's why I was under the impression Fill entries with data from previous QSOs preference might be what I wanted.

But if QRZ still wins even in the face of using that preference, maybe your suggestion of an additional option is the way to go.
