RGO One CW keying

Unread post by om0rx »

Hi guys,

I have Mission RGO One transceiver, working very well with Rumlog, standard settings as Kenwood TS-480.

I'm heavy on CW via computer, usually using my SunSDR2 Pro, which works beautifully with Rumlog. I would like to use RGO One and CW the same way as Sun, but RumLog won't key the RGO One transceiver even though I have all settings correct.

I tried MacLoggerDX and it can key and send CW via USB/com directly to transceiver with no problem. But Rumlog can't. Is there anything I am doing wrong, any pointers please?

Or is there a bug in Rumlog?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

73's.

Does the Mission RGO One transceiver support the Kenwood keyer commands?

Yes, it does.

As mentioned MacLoggerDX can key the RGO one without any problems with these settings:

radio: ts-480
ptt: radio command ptt
cw: dtr/rts cw

With the same settings RumLog won't key. So yes, RGO one does support kenwood keyer commands.

Many thanks for your help.

No! In your setting you use DTR/RTS.
RL doesn't include an own CW keyer.

Oh,

Thank you very much for your prompt answer. I'll look at different way how to key the RGO.
