Logging from Fldigi to RumlogNG

Unread post by va3cp »

This used to work for me but I have upgraded to macOS Sonoma 14.7 and FLdigi 4.2.06.
Seems to me I was using AppleScript. Is this still a viable way to interface Fldigi and RumlogNG?
If AppleScript is still the way to go, I have downloaded the file but no idea what to do with it. :(
I saw a post some time back about developing a way to interface similar to how WSJT-X logs to Rumlog.
Any help would be appreciated.

  1. In fldigi go to: Menu-->Configure-->Logging-->Cloud-UDP.
    • Enter the address where RL is running.
    • Enter a suitable port number. Remember this number.
    • Tick the Enable box.
    • Optionally go through the Select Fields settings.
  2. In RUMlog go to Menu-->RUMlog-->Preferences-->UDP In the RUMlog, N1MM & TR4W compatible box:
    • Enter a suitable option from the QSOs received from Flex / ADIF popup.
    • Enter the same port number from the step above.
