RUMlog Version 4.0.4

RUMlog version 4 has a lot of new features and functions. The most important are:

• Enable Satellite QSO logging
• Iota logging and tracking
• Locator tracking
• Dual transceiver support
• Own IOTA and qsl manager database

Even if you are familiar with RUMlog, it is recommended to read the whole manual to find a lot of tips, tricks and 'hidden' features.

Very important note
The database structure was changed. When you open a log at the first time in version 4, this will be done automatically. Before you start RUMlog 4.0, back up your existing logfiles first! Once a log database file is modified, you can not read it with RUMlog prior 4.

The font size selection in the dx cluster windows is working again, this was broken in 4.0

Google Maps is working again.

You have to update to 4.0.3. Only RUMlog.app was changed.

Tom -
This version looks great! One little bug that I have found is that it does not like 80m. It records "??" for the band, as well as exports it as "??". I haven't tried all of the bands yet, nor tried logging satellites - yet, but this version looks like a huge update!

Tnx Mike,

make sure your settings under the QRG/mode tab are correct and correspond with your band plan. As default, the European band plan is used. Only frequencies between 3500 and 3800 will be recognized for 80m.

The internet based station's locator search is working again. This was broken due to changes on server's side.

Only RUMlog.app was changed.
