When transmitting a message 2 seconds or longer My K3 continues to transmit after the message is finished.
No difference changing between DTR, RTS or TRX CAT for PTT.
My K3 does not see the release of DTR or RTS and does not receive any TRX CAT command to stop the transmission.
The shorter message works fine with either DTR, RTS or TRX CAT for PTT.

Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
Re: Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
This may happens when the sound file is corrupt. Please post an example.

Re: Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
N5HC.m4a does not work.
I have recorded several other files directly in RUMlogNG and they failed too.
However one.m4a (short) record in RUMlogNG did not fail.

Re: Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
Your files are working fine here on a K3. A Mac reboot may help.
Do you have disabled the VOX? Maybe RFI?
Can you switch back to RX by hitting the ESC key?

Re: Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
ESC stops the transmission.
Reboot do not make any difference.
Zero Power or K3 Test mode same result. i.e. not an RFI issue.
However selecting the Built-in Output for "playback over the radio", but still having the "Switch PTT" selected works. i.e. the audio is played "correctly" over the internal MacMini speaker and PTT are controlling the K3 correctly.
Tried another USB based audio destination and that have the same PTT problem as the (K3) builtin USB audio CODEC.

Re: Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
I don't know the K3 internal audio codec, just use a classic K3. Maybe there is an auto PTT feature? I know this behaviour from microHAM devices. This feature will not work under macOS!

Re: Voice Keyer continues to transmit.
I noticed in the Console during playback:
PTT works correctly.
I have not tried to determine if both changes are necessary, but it works now.

- RUMlogNG ACMP4AACBaseDecoder.cpp:357:Initialize: (0x7fcbfe949040) Output format: 2 ch, 44100 Hz, Float32, non-inter
- In Audio MIDI Devices Setup -> Devices Devices ->Changed from 48 kHz to 44.1 kHz for the internal K3 CODEC.
- In RumlogNG -> Audio -> Record to File -> Input Rate changed from 48000 to 44100
PTT works correctly.
