Hi All I am a new-bee !!
How do I add a new country like Bosnia or change VK9DWX from listed as Australia to Willis?
Also I have a favorite Telnet site I usually go to, how do I add it to your list?

By the way I had review and used 4 different logging programs for Mac so far and this Seams to be the best so far. I had used 5 different Bill Gates Logging programs and have a favorite. But mine BG cpu blew a hard drive and I just gave that junk up.

Re: New-Bee ?
Hi Jim,
In the distribution you can find an application 'EditDXCC'. This program is used for all kinds of editing the DXCC list.
Serbia is listed with the 'old' name Yugoslavia. Start 'EditDXCC' and select the 'DXCC' tab. Sort the columns to your requirements by pressing the header. The Table is inline editable. Just change 'Yugoslavia' to 'Serbia'. Press the "Save" button to make all changes active and restart RUMlog.
To change the DXCC from VK9DWX go to the 'Calls' tab and press the 'Add Row' button. Enter the required data as shown in the example below. When you are not sure which prefix for a DXCC you have to use, have a look into the DXCC table. Use only the main prefix, here VK9Z! Press the "Save" button to make all changes active and restart RUMlog.
The 'Calls' table is used, whenever the country of a station can not be determined from the call sign. It could be used also for not regular call signs. When computing the DXCC, RUMlog will first scan this table.
To add a Telnet cluster, go to the preferences window. Menu-->RUMlog-->Preferences and select the DX-Cluster tab. Press the 'Add' button below the Telnet cluster table. Enter the data into the table and press the Save button. After opening the Telnet cluster terminal window, you can select your preferred cluster from the popup menu, while disconnected.
I hope this helps.

Re: New-Bee ?
I've got another newbie question. Has anyone else tried RUMLog with a TS-440s? I can't seem to get RUMLog to read or set the radio's frequency. I know I've got a good connection to the radio because I can open the serial port with ZTerm and type control commands, such as "IF;", and the radio responds with the correct info. In RUMLog I've got the port settings set to the exact same values (e.g. 4800 baud). Double clicking a spot sets the freq in the log window, but doesn't change the radio's frequency. Likewise, changing the frequency on the radio doesn't reflect the change in the log window.
Any suggestions? Thanks,

Hi Tom,
make sure you have deselected the "Set DTR" and "Set RTS" checkboxes in the TRX preferences. I'm almost sure, RUMlog will work with the TS-440.
