Tom -
When I look at the "Transceiver" item on the menu bar, only "Reset CAT" and "Abort Transmission" are active (not greyed out). What am I doing wrong?

Re: Transceiver menu
What do you expect to see?
Others are active, pending on your configuration.

Re: Transceiver menu
I expect to see them all enabled . I looked thru preferences and Help, and didn't see anything about enabling the K3 P3 control screens. In CW preferences, Transceiver is selected as the CW interface. CAT works FB.

Re: Transceiver menu
Ahh, I was not aware of your setup.
The K3 and P3 menu items become available when you select the "K3 Ctrl" in your TRX preferences.
The "Edit CW memory" item is for Icom and Yaesu transceivers only. Elecracft don't like to tell me, how to do this. There is no documented interface available.

Re: Transceiver menu
Thanks, Tom - I knew I had seen the control screens before. Too bad about the internal CW memories. A note about these would make a nice addition to the Help file...

Re: Transceiver menu
Thanks. I came here to ask this very question! What is the value of the K3 (without the CTRL) setting for the TRX if you can't actually control the transceiver?
Re: Transceiver menu
Using the simple K3 setting, you can exchange frequency and mode only. The same functions, as for other supported devices.
When you select the "-Ctrl" option, you have more controls for the K3 and P3. See the attached screen shots to get an idea.
