I have contacts with 3Y0C which were assigned to DXCC CE9 when I imported my log from classic and before I had loaded the DXCC database.
The database shows an exception for the period 12/16/00 to 3/4/01 being DXCC 3Y/B. My QSO was in Feb. 2001 which falls in that range.
I tried recalculating DXCC for the QSO with no change in DXCC.
I edited the QSO adding a letter then reverting it. When I added an A, making the call 3Y0CA, the edit window showed DXCC 3Y/B as did the log grid when I saved it. When I changed it back to 3Y0C, the DXCC went back to CE9.
The database also lists an exception for 3Y0C as CE9 with a beginning date of 1/1/00 and an ending date of 12/31/99 which includes the dates for 3Y/B. Is NG handling those dates correctly?
Is there a way to fix this short of deleting and re-adding the QSOs? Maybe a place on the EDIT window to change the DXCC?

Re: Changing DXCC
Seems to be a logical issue in the exception table. When I query for 3Y0C in February 2001, I will get 2 results. I have to find a solution for that.
As workaround you can enter your own exception in Preferences-->DXCC. This overrides the Clublog database.

Re: Changing DXCC
Thanks Tom. I view that situation as a flaw in the database. Seems to me it should be:

Checking the date range is going to be tedious.Call DXCC Start Date End date Entity
3Y0C CE9 1/1/00 12/15/00 Antarctica
3Y0C 3Y/B 12/16 00 3/4/01 Bouvet
3Y0C CE9 3/5/01 12/31/99 Antarctica

Re: Changing DXCC
You are right Mike. This would be more logically. But I have found a solution, it will be fixed in the next version.
