FreeDV mode

Unread post by pip »

Hi,

I just made my first QSO in FreeDV and of course I'd like to log that QSO. Unfortunately I can't find an appropriate mode from all possible options to properly reflect FreeDV. Would it be possible to add FreeDV as one of the valid options in the mode selection?

You can add it yourself, check this thread http://dl2rum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=420

Hmmm,

ok, so at least there is a temp workaround. I see that adif version 3 has a 'digitalvoice' mode selection, so I guess that in the not too far future RUMlog will support this mode, which would sufficiently cover my needs.

Where do you have seen "Digital Voice"? http://adif.org/303/adif303.htm#Mode%20Enumeration
It is an easy job to add conform ADIF modes.

(yes, that's a big change from the previous version...)
