Hi Tom,

I turned off Aurals and Growl, closed and restarted RUMLog and I'm still getting voice announcements. Here is a link to a screen capture of Preferences DX Alert page:

Also under Log I don't have Speak Call Check Results checked.

Curiouser and curiouser!

This is not a bug, it's a feature (I can't remember why): Calls to announce will be spoken always. Do you get ST0R voice announcements only?

Hi Tom,

Here's a screen shot of Preferences/DX Alerts:

Any ideas? FYI I also have a SignaLink USB connected and it does have it's own sound card but it is not the Mac default. And don't forget I upgraded to Lion.

I'm pretty sure that is the case. Though I don't get many because I don't need many.

On checking further this only happens with ST0R, an all-time new one, worked but not confirmed. I assume this feature applies to only all-time new ones. If that's the case, it is a good idea, though I'd only hear it again for North Korea and Yemen. ;)

As far as I'm concerned, no need to fix this.

No, you have entered ST0R in table on the left hand side. This station will be announced always, when the checkbox "Calls from the list" is ticked.
