Re: Use Name from previous QSO instead of QRZ data
Thanks for the reply. Name seems like a field that is very useful to use from a previous QSO. Other fields are less obvious. Certainly if someone moves to a different area (state, province, DOK, etc) you wouldn't want to blindly copy the State value from a previous QSO. That's why I was under the ...

Use Name from previous QSO instead of QRZ data
Hello, I use QRZ.com for a data source, have the query panel open and have "Use data" checked. In Settings > Databases > Fill entries with data from previous QSOs I have checked Name I created a new log with no QSOs. I enter a station's call and it is populated from QRZ in brown as expected. Say his ...

DX Cluster password preference shown in clear text
Hello, In RUMlogNG 5.19.5 (686) on macOS 15.6 I see my DX cluster password displayed in clear text in RUMlogNG > Settings > DX Cluster. This is in the Password column of the DX Cluster Addresses table. I expected it to be displayed as "hidden" (a series of black dots or similar). Interestingly, the ...

Re: Little Snitch alerts regarding RUMlogNG network access
OK an update -- there does seem to be some low level network caching going on. I denied another 20 sites or so and then the alerts stopped. Then I quit RUMlogNG and deleted all of the entries in Little Snitch. I restarted RUMlogNG thinking it should start all over again, right? Nope. Little Snitch ...

Little Snitch alerts regarding RUMlogNG network access
I'm installing RUMlogNG on a Mac which has Little Snitch installed. As soon as I open the RUMlogNG preference pane, I start seeing lots of Little Snitch alerts that RUMlogNG is accessing various websites I've gone to in the past. These sites are totally unrelated to amateur radio (e.g., https ...

Re: RUMlogNG version 5.12
Grayline Bug? When I set local time (Preferences -> General -> Use local time), the gray line on the grayline map is incorrect. Specifically, the gray line is shifted by what I assume is the delta between my local time and UTC. If I uncheck that option and restart, the grayline map is correct. If I ...
