Looks like beach ball has been deflated - has not re-appeared. Have been clicking through the preferences tab for a bit now - no problem.

Thanks for the update Tom. When selecting RUMLog- Preferences in 4.0 and clicking on an item, I get the beach ball. Have to force quit to exit the program. Same in 4.0.1.
