Hi Tom,
I'm having trouble to upload QSOs to LoTW after the latest update. RUMLogNG version 2.4 (81)
When I try to send a QSO to LoTW I get the following message: "tsql Sandbox Error. Start tsql manually first and reset path setting in the preferences"

I did what the error message said as well as restarted the computer but no luck.

Any clue?

Regards,

I don't know, why this problem pops up now. Other users are affected, but not all. Maybe Apple changed security mechanisms which became active after an app update.
Make sure, the tqsl app is located in the Application folder. This ensures it has the correct user privileges.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for replying. I believe my "issue" is solved after reading your note.
My TSQL application was not running from Application folder - I install and run my ham apps from a different folder.

So, I moved the TSQL app to Application folder and launch it from there one time to register into security mechanisms.
Then I closed and opened RUMLogNG, updated the Preferences for LotW to config the application path and the .tspl folder.

Once these steps completed, I selected a QSO and submitted to LoTW without errors.

Thanks for your tip to have the TSQL located into the Application folder. I never had issues running apps outside application folder.
Anyway, I believe the newest Apple security updates are tightening things up.

Again, thank you for your time and hope this clue will help others to fix this issue.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Cheers

Tox for feedback Eric. There is already a note in the FAQ: http://dl2rum.de/RUMlogNG/docs/en/pages/FAQ.html
