Import .rsd to RumlogNG

Unread post by w0ea »

I just moved to a new computer and in the process of inputting a few buro cards, I noticed my NG logbook was missing all my QSOs from before Jan 1 2015. I opened up my legacy version of Rumlog and everything is there back to 2003 just like it should be. There is some overlap in QSOs as I switched to NG in March 2015.

So all of my contacts are there, I just have to merge the logs somehow. Can anyone assist?

There are multiple options available. In your situation I would do the following:
  • Backup all your logbook files
  • Export all new QSOs (not included in your old log) via ADIF
  • Create a new logbook file using the option: Menu-->Logbook-->New with RUMlog Classic file -- select your classic file as data source
  • Reimport your exported QSOS via ADIF.

Or better yet.... make sure the "All QSOs" is selected instead of just "this year"
