Dear all
I wonder if there is a way to keep the filter settings of my IC-7300 when I change frequency using the RUMlog remote control.
In the Extended IC-7300 control pane of RUMlog you can double click on the filter and then the dot lights orange, which keeps it fixed when tuning around using the IC-7300 control pane. But if you use the band maps and click on a given call, then RUMlog changes to this new band / frequency but setting by default Fil1. In CW, where my default filter is Fil2 this is not very nice.
What am I configuring wrong?
I have searched the forum and looked around in the preferences and program menus, but so far haven't found the answer.
Thank you for our help.

Keep Filter Settings in IC-7300
Re: Keep Filter Settings in IC-7300
You can set your defaults filter in the Preferences. But this affects all modes and bands. You should set the parameters of this filter to your preferred band width for there given mode.
These buttons haven't a double click function. Don't do this.In the Extended IC-7300 control pane of RUMlog you can double click on the filter

Re: Keep Filter Settings in IC-7300
Dear Tom
You mean the Preferences of the IC-7300?
Because I cannot find where to adjust it in RUMlog, sorry.
You are right that I would like to set the filter settings for each mode and band, but I cannot see where to adjust this in the software.
Thank you!

Re: Keep Filter Settings in IC-7300
Thanks Tom.
Found it. It was really hidden.
BTW, it is really a pity that I cannot change the default language to be different of my OSX default language (I remember that you already told me that RUMlog was linked to the OSX default language). I would really prefer to have British English instead of Spanish .
For the time being I will keep Fil2 for all bands / modes as default.

It's not hidden, it is located where I would expect it.
You can change an app language in your System Preferences!

Re: Keep Filter Settings in IC-7300
Once more, thank you Tom for your answers and time.
It's clear that I didn't know that I could set-up the language for each app in the System Preferences Pane.
I have done so and upload here the screen shot of the submenu in the Language & Region settings of the System Preferences Pane (OSX Big Sur), in case this helps to other in the future.
Thank you again, Tom.
And HNY.
