two questions

I am still using version 4.2
I have been entering the date and time manually.
Today my date isnt showing medium format and I get an orange color in the callsign field.
The user manual says this is because real time isn't checked. How do you check real time ?
I want to continue entering manually.

How do I upgrade to 4.5 and keep my current QSO entry setup ?

The date format can be changed in the Preferences under the General tab.
An orange background in callsign field indicates ab unknown DXCC.
You can update to 4.5 without loosing any setting.

OK, I upgraded to version 4.5 everything looks fine except for the date / time field still.

I have it set to enter manually.
When I enter the date the year shows only one digit. and I still get orange in the callsiign field.
I went to preferences and the date and time are set to medium format. Is there a setting I am missing ?

A screenshot would be helpful. See the System Preferences what you have chosen for your medium date format.

I upgraded from version 4.2 to 4.5. Wow, easy to upgrade ! RumLog is the best logging program I have ever used.
Thanks for making it so easy to use. !

I have a question about entering the time in the time field for a QSO. It is set up for hr/min/sec (03:21:00)
I never enter the seconds. Is there a way to have the field just show hr/min ? (03:21)

I can't upload QSO files to LOTW for QSL.
When I click on QSL to LOTW I get this message:

Can't use tqsl:
The file couldn't be opened because it isn't in the correct format.

Should I try to remove and reinstall RunLog ?

No, this won't be helpful. I guess you have a wrong setting. Show us your LoTW Preferences.

I went to preferences and removed and re-entered all the LOTW settings and now it works fine.
