Wrong distance calculation

Unread post by F1FLY »

I use RUMLogNG 3.2.1 (148) with a MacBook Pro and Sierra Mac OS and it’s a great software.

When I enter a new QSO with another French OM the distance is always 223 km so I don’t understand (my QRA Locator is JN18CA).

For all other countries it’s work fine. Perhaps I don’t use it correctly ?

Hi Eric,

I answered this for a week ago. No need to ask twice.
Hi Eric,

the DXCC Info Box shows always the distance (and heading) to the default country location. This means, all France station will show the same distance. All German stations will shown another distance.
The Station Info Box shows the distance (and heading) to the given station. But you have to enter the locator first! The grid square must be known to calculate it correct.
