Rumlog 3.0 and Icom IC-7300

Unread post by K6WDE »

Hi folks,
Newbie Dave, K6WDE here. I have my IC-7300 interfacing fantastically with Fldigi and WSJT-X. I am trying to move to RumLongNG for the IC-7300. Which IC-7300 rig selection do I choose, the one without 'Ctrl' or the 'IC-7300-Ctrl'? My port baud is at 38400 in the software and on the rig, a stop bit of '1' and parity of 'none'

My port is /dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART

Under the Transciever tab, the 'IC-7300-Control' is obviously grayed-out. I am not controlling the rig.

With the 'IC-7300-Ctrl' and RUMlogNG, I can see the frequency change and some of the buttons work, but I cannot change bands.

Help, I am missing something really simple here ...

I'm not sure which element is greyed out. Can you provide a screen shot please?
When you use the Control option, you should set the baud rate to maximum. (115200 bd)
