Grayline Map

Hi All,

I tried doing a COMMAND-G to bring up the Grayline map, and NG crashed. Tried again via Window>Grayline and same thing.

I rebooted the computer, running only NG, and the Grayline map still crashes the program.

This is withe 2.13 - I just upgraded a night or two ago, and this may be the first time I've tried to access the grayling map since then, but not sure.

OSX 10.9.5

Any ideas?

It seems there is an internal bug in a macOS framework. A very similar problem is listed in the "Known bugs" list in Apples Xcode documentation. I've filed a bug report to make sure.
All 10.9 users are affected, when the application was compiled using 10.12.

I can't offer a solution yet.

Thanks Tom.

Is that new with this latest version of NG? I was able to use the Grayline map in the previous version.

Can I get the prior version of NG? If so, will that mean that Apple Maps won't work? Perhaps it would just be best for me to run another Grayline map.

I really can't upgrade past Mavericks unfortunately, because of all the other software upgrades I would have to do....Ugh.

For the news in 2.13 see here: http://dl2rum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=911#p3967

When you have a backup, you can reinstall your 2.12 version. Otherwise I can provide it, but you will lose the Maps.

Thanks Tom,

I restored 2.12 from Time Machine - do I just move the .app to the Applications folder?

Thanks!

I would rename it before moving to the Application folder. This prevents another unwanted update.

I've just got the confirmation from Apple that this is a bug. It will hopefully fixed soon.

Hi

RUMlogNG Version 2.13.1 (125) on a MBPro OSX 10.10.5.
Everything works fine, map and grayline map no problem.
In 2.1x i couldn't see the map, now it's all right.
Tnx Tom.
