Is there a way to let those two work together? I am ure there is since RumlogNG has an Fldigi preferences pane.
What i want is for Fldigi to follow the radio and pick up the spots i click in Rumlog. Logging from Fldigi into Rumlog is a nice extra, but i can live without. I can just export the Fldigi logs as ADIF and import them into Rumlog.
This is what i tried so far to make Fldigi follow Rumlog:
- Set up CAT in Rumlog - working
- In Rumlog, Preferences, Fldigi defined 127.0.0.1 port 7362 as my Fldigi host.
- In Rumlog, Preferences, TX1 select CAT and Send data to Fldigi
- In Fldigi, Configure, Rig Control, XML-RCP checked.
However, when i click Initialize nothing happens.

What am i missing?

Yes, i saw that post and i want to go fot the second option but i don't understand how this can work.
CAT is set up in Rumlog and Rumlog is sending TRX data to Fldigi according to the two checkboxes. But where do i configure how Fldigi receives the data? With MLDX i had the MacLogger UDP option, but for Rumlog i don't see any configuration option to configure this. the second image in the blog post only shows (IMHO, but i can be wrong) to switch off Hamlib, which i have disabled. I suspect i have to use RPC instead of Hamlib but i'm not sure.
Any ideas?

Yes, you have to activate the XML-RPC function in FLdigi.

All working now. Don't know why it didn't work before.

Now, what's documented there is for older versions of RUMlogNG and fldigi. Is this information that could be included in the official RUMlogNG documentation? I'd be happy to help update it.
