CAT oddity

I have a PRO II, and the CAT jack has a splitter so data can go to the SteppIR.
The radio sends data to RL. If I double click on a frequency in the spot window, the log gets populated, but the PRO II and the SteppIR do not change.
If I double click 2 or more times on a freq, then click Reset Cat #2, the radio and SteppIR change.....usually. Not always.

Does it work as expected with the splitter removed?

Hi Tom,
No, it works the same. I meant to say this is TRX2.

Does it work as expected when configured as TRX1?
Currently I'M working a lot with an Icom, I will check #2.

Keep it simple Mike.
You have connected an Icom. When you double click a frequency, the VFO dosen't change? Dosen't matter if #1 or #2 and regardless the splitter?
Have set the IC-V baud rate to Auto or to a fixed value? Auto should not be used.

Roger the simple, Tom.
No the VFO does not change, regardless of whether TX1 or TX2 is used, regardless of splitter.
The CI-V baud rate is 19200 both on the radio and in RL. Auto is not used. To prove the hardware is OK, I shifted over to Win10 running in Parallels and using TRX-Manager it works perfectly with the same hardware.

Which interface do you use? Maybe a driver problem or wrong port setting?

The interface is from W1GEE. Wouldn't a bad driver or wrong port setting affect traffic in both directions?

Flow control settings may affect one direction only.
