Sota field and upload.

Unread post by ct1drb »

Hi all,

call is CT1DRB name is David and nth is about 15 km south of Lisbon.

Since yesterday I have been using Mac and RUMLogNG software. I must to say that I have been, for long time, a Linux fan. But so far so good with Mac.

The RUMLogNG software is a very good logging/contesting software and it was very easy to install. I am still exploring it but I am very happy with.

Because I am into SOTA is it possible to include a field for SOTA ref and an output adit file to update into the sotawatch website ?

Best 73 and tsk for nice software.

Hi David,

go to the Preferences under the General tab. Here you can define the four provided user fields. You can set one field to <SOTA_REF>.

When you are a activator as well, use another field for <MY_SOTA_REF> Both fields will be used for ADIF ex- and import. Using Menu-->Logbook-->Export selected QSOs for SOTA will export selected QSOs in the required Version 2 SOTA format.

Hi Tom,

tks for your replay.

In fact I should have read the manual before I wrote my first post, well, it is part of life.

I have found how to enable a sota field and how to do a sota csv file, it is all in documentation :( :( .

Anyway, it seems to be a soberb logging/contesting software.

Tks for all and for your assistance Tom.

Best 73 and have a nice weekend.
