Log on shared folder

Hi,
I have stored my log file on a (AFS) share so I can run RUMlog on whichever computer happens to be at hand (yes I really have multiple). Now, every time I start RUMlog it complains that it can't open the log file, but has no issues opening the file immediately after from the log menu. Also, I've noticed no other downsides of storing the logfile on a share.
