From reading the manual, I see that for my Icom IC-7600 I should select a different Icom rig from the list and then change the address in my 7600 to that address. Is there a specific Icom transceiver that I should choose to make sure all of the features are correct? Should I choose an "IC-756 PRO III (6Eh)" or an "IC-7800 (6Ah)" or a "IC-7700 (74h)" or something else? Does it not matter which one I choose? I notice on the 7700/7800 I have Mode Mappings to choose. I notice on the 756/PROIII I have "Force AFSK" to choose, so it would appear there are some differences between the different selections.
Thank you for any help that can be provided! I LOVE RUMlog so far. I had been using it with my KX3 mostly and just today tried to get it working with my 7600. It seemed to work, and I just discovered that I may have needed to "Prevent App Nap" on Mavericks, so I did that, but haven't tested again. It seemed to stop working though and I'd have to keep "ReInit TRX1" to get it to update the frequency, and the power never seemed to need to be manually updated and I could have sworn that used to be read off of the KX3; maybe that isn't supported on the 7600.
Is it possible to add the 7600 to the list to make it a bit more obvious to other new users who are connecting an IC-7600?
Thank you again!

Re: Icom IC-7600
Is there another post here on the forums, or some place else I should be looking to understand the best Icom rig to choose to match my IC-7600?
I'm sorry if I am not looking in the right place.

Re: Icom IC-7600
For the basic functions you should use the IC-7400 (66h) setting.
Make sure you have set the "CI-V Transceive" option to "On" on your rig somewhere in a menu.

Thank you Tom. I'll set things like that.
