Hi Tom,
I haven't been able to get RUMlog to talk to the dx5000 (via Microham USB III) since I moved the shack. The CAT light goes on, but no other communication. Maclogger Dx communicates fine. I am using the FT 1000MP transceiver setting in RUMlog whereas in ML DX, there is a dx5000 option. Can't figure out what I changed. Any ideas?

You should post a screen shot of your TRX settings.

Try to switch on the options "Use DTR" and/or "Use CTS" to enable flow control. Per default it is switched on in the trx.
I guess, the baud rate matches? I was not able to find any information about the number of stop bits.

Those changes didn't make a difference. I have tried to match the config from MLDX which does work, but without success. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Here's the MLDX prefs:

Yes...I'll keep tinkering with it and see what I can figure out. Thanks.

Hi, Tom
Finally got it working. All I had to do was use the FT2000 xcvr setting rather than the FT1000. It took me way to long to figure that one out. Now I am working on integrating the Cocoamodem functions through the Microham USB Interface III. It looks like that is not supported through the CW preference panel. I guess I will have to operate those modes in Cocoamodem and log the contacts into Rumlog.
Thanks.
