Does anyone know if Rumlog supports the original winkey with serial port ?I have a usb to serial port converter running on my Mac Mini and the rig control works fine through it but I can't seem to get the winkey to work .I tried a friends Winkey 2 with a usb port and it works fine but I can't see the serial port version.

For years ago I used the original K1EL WinKey Serial PCB. I'm not sure, but I assume I have had to add a diode from the RTS or DTR ( ) line to provide the power supply for the chip from the serial port. You have to make sure your USB-Serial converter is supporting RTS/DTR and you have to set the ports accordingly in the preferences or you use an external power supply for the keyer.
