TS-2k Problem/Request

Hi Tom,

And thank you for writing such a very nice Mac program. I am using a TS-2k and it would really be great to choose the modulation and the frequency offset whenever I click on a DX spot. For example, when I click on an RTTY or digi mode, TS-2k always switches to LSB and the correct frequency according to the dxcluster reports. However, since I use AFSK instead of FSK and I have setup everything to work with USB (easier for me to calculate the offset and work on waterfalls), I have to manually switch to USB and move down 1kHz every time I click on the dxcluster spot and modes such as RTTY, FSK, PSK or Digi. SSB and CW work really great so no problems there.

Some radios have a configurable modulation mode mapping and you get to choose where to set the rig, depending on the incoming cluster report. Do you think it maybe possible to do the same for the TS-2k and maybe even configure the rig frequency offset?

Whether this would be a useful feature or not really depends on the operator's habits, in my opinion.
I also operate most digital modes in USB, just like SV1HFY does, and I too find annoying, when I occasionally click a digi mode spot, that my TS-590 switches to LSB, so it would be nice if I could at least configure RUMlog to disable mode switch and simply change the frequency in this case.

But:
1) in way too many cases the frequency of digital modes dx spots seems to be inaccurate, in the sense that it depends on the posting station's configuration, that could be different from my own, so going to the spot frequency is useless in most cases anyway
2) I use very different settings for voice and digital on my radio, so zapping forth and back between voice and digital by clicking the dx spots is not ideal for me, and I really don't do it very often.
