Digi / PSK macro issue

Unread post by HB9OBB »

is there a list of all available macro commands / variables available for the Digi macros ?
I'm trying to get new-lines but did not found how.
I'm talking about the RUMlog equivalent of "\r" in cocoaModem.

I don't like "one liner" in PSK or RTTY, correct formatted messages are much easier to read.
Any help is welcome :-)

I'm not quite sure if I have understood your problem.
In the RUMlog preferences under the Digi tab you can assign the 8 macros. In the provided text fields you can enter the text, including linefeeds, just press the 'Enter' key.

In the Digi window itself are 4 further (single line) macros. I call these 'quick macros' These are used as placeholder for the worked station name, callsign or rst. They should be used as a macro inside a macro.

Example: In macro #1 we have the text:

Hello %1
tnx for coming back to me. your report is %2 %2

Before you start the transmission, you should enter the name in the 'quick macro' 1 and rst in 'quick macro' 2 - direct in the Digi Window.

Uhm, it could be only a cosmetic issue.
What actually happen:
The RUMlog digi window shows the data being sent correctly, the cocoaModem shows it as one-liner (see attached screenshot).
Which is telling the truth ?

:o Opps! :o

This seems to be a cosmetic issue in cocoaModem. My tests show, this happens in PSK only, in RTTY are all the printings correct. I started fldigi in parallel and the decoded transmitted audio show correct.
