Hi Tom,

I see that the DXCC Desk has deleted Malyj Vysotskij from the current entities list.

How should I handle this in Rumlog?

According to the Finnish Ministry of Transportation and Communication, the Saimaa Canal Treaty between Finland and Russia has been finalized by relevant Finnish and Russian authorities through ratification.

The Treaty has entered into effect with a date of February 17, 2012.

Malyj Vysotskij Island (MVI), R1M, is no longer included in the Treaty. Thus, MVI will be deleted from the DXCC list as of February 17, 2012, and added to the Deleted Entities List.

Administratively at HQ, we will not make the necessary changes to the DXCC system until after the final data processing for 2011 is complete -- this includes the tables shown in Logbook of The World.

DXCC members will see their current entity totals drop by one on their Mixed awards, and on the bands and modes where MVI credit is given. They will also see their DXCC Challenge totals drop commensurately.

Fortunately we have not to delete DXCCs very often. Therefore there is no function provided yet to perform this task automatically.
Perform the following steps:

• Quit RUMlog
• Start the application EditDXCC.app (provided in the RUMlog folder)
• Select the DXCC tab and mark the row for Malyj Vysotskij
• Press the "Delete Row" button, a new requester will open.

• When you are sure to delete it, press the "Okay" Button

• A new requester opens and asks you if you want to delete all Prefixes --> Press "Cancel"

• Go to the "Prefix" tab, here are no entries for Malyj Vysotskij in the default database.

• When you have added a prefix by your self, make the following changes:
  • Set the DXCC to "##"
  • Set the "Until" date to "2012-02-17"
• Go to the "Calls" tab
• Click on the "DXCC" column table header to sort the table by DXCCs
• For each Malyj Vysotskij entry set the "DXCC" to "##" and set the "Until" date to "2012-02-17"

• Press the "Save" button and quit "EditDXCC"
• Restart RUMlog and all is done.

If you are using the original dxcc.rsd database, find attached the modified dxcc.rsd database. Just move it into your RUMlog folder. Then restart RUMlog, no further action is required.

Thanks Tom. I thought it would be something easy like you described, but wanted to make sure before I started playing around in EditDXCC.
