Rumlog not selecting USB serial port Mac book pro

Anyone please some help. I am new to MAC. Trying to run RumLog on my Macbook pro but cannot get Rumlog to select the port where my USB CAT interface is installed. Rumlog just sees the Bluetooth ports. I can see that MAC identifies the USB interface as `prolific' in the about my MAC page. Obviously I am doing something wrong. Cable USB/CAT works fine under Windows with Ham Radio Deluxe and ICOM 7K.
