I am using RUMlog 4.6.7. It works well with my K3 through a Prolific USB/Serial adaptor cable. I am trying to get RUMlog to integrate with my Kenwood TS 590 and have been unsuccessful using both the K2/K3 setting as well as the TS-570 setting (both at 9600 bps). I know the interface on the TS 590 is working well and the cabling is OK. Anyone have any experience using RUMlog with the 590, who could tell me what I am doing wrong?

Re: Kenwood TS 590
Activate the 'Use CTS" option in the RUMlog preferences under the TRX tab and try again. The TS-480 needs this setting, maybe the TS-590 needs it as well.

Re: Kenwood TS 590
Thanks for the help. By checking the CTS option I was able to successfully integrate the TS 590 with RUMlog!

Re: Kenwood TS 590
At this point I am a BIG fan of RUMlog. I have found that the best way to integrate the TS-590 is to leave RUMlog configured for the Elecraft K2/K3 and then check the CTS box in the configuration screen.

Re: Kenwood TS 590
The beta version works fine so far with my TS-590S using the USB port of the 590.

Re: Kenwood TS 590
One thing I've noticed is that Rumlog does not read the B VFO.
