I use Rumlog for as long as I use Mac. I love it. It's a vy nice logbook. I had never problems, but now I have (maybe?) a simple problem.
I use a Macbook Pro 2022 and Rumlog 5.9.1
When I close and reopen Rumlog, the columns are reset to the default values. And not as I have set it myself. What can I do about it? On my iMac, that's not the case. And everything stays nicely in place. I hope you can help.
Thanks in advance for the reply. Tonnie - PA9CW
Doesn't remember columns settings
Re: Doesn't remember columns settings
Is it this specific table only or are other tables affected?
When it's the logbook table only try this:
When it's the logbook table only try this:
- Quit RUMlog
- In the Terminal run following commands:
- defaults delete de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG "NSTableView Columns v3 TableLog"
- defaults delete de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG "NSTableView Supports v2 TableLog"
- defaults delete de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG "NSTableView Sort Ordering v2 TableLog"
- Restart your Mac
- Start RUMlog and reorder the table.

Re: Doesn't remember columns settings
I tried your tip. But it does not seem to solved the problem. All the colums go to default value again.
Sorry....

Re: Doesn't remember columns settings
Tom,
I tried your tip again, and now it seems to work. The last days I have opened and closed RUMLogNG maybe ten or twenty times. And the table settings are still okay.
Thank for the help.
