Is it possible to create a custom contest file for import? I have a DX trip coming and need to add a few more logging options in the contest window...
Thanks,
Will

What’s wrong with the dx-ped template? What are your intentions?

If the note, or sent/received saved between QSO I could work around. But I need operator, Sig_info and My_Sig_info if I’m being really picky. With My_Sig_Info saving. I’m headed to Ireland and will be operating with a prefix and also doing POTA at the same time. So without creating a new logbook I was hoping to use a contest window….
I’ll have 3 different Prefixes on this trip at multiple parks. So it will be an organizational nightmare.

I would do all the logging using the dx-ped template. After that I would import the file(s) into a new ''normal' logbook file. Here we have all the possibilities for batch editing and/or to export for POTA with all required fields.
You could use user definable fields for My_Sig_Info and My_Sig and do the batch editing. Or just use the Export for special activity function from the Logbook menu.

Ok I’ll experiment with that.

Ok. Wow. I didn’t know about this Export for Special activity… Do you see a problem with naming the Dx-Ped contest file with my prefix and then use operator for park number? I could export selected parks from the contest and then Export Special in main logbook. I’d like to keep one contest for each prefix.

After some time playing. I'm just going to create a new logbook... Thanks for the suggestions!
