ICOM IC-7610: RUMlogNG Changes 2 Menu Options But Fails To Reset Them When Quit

Hi Forum Members & Developer DL2RUM,
Can a slight tweak be made to RUMlogNG (and probably RUMlog2GO) to insure it resets any changes it made to the ham radio rig's settings back to what they were originally? Read on for more details to better explain why I am asking about this.
I am experiencing an annoyance when using RUMlogNG with my ICOM IC-7610. When RUMlogNG starts up (with "CAT" control and the special "ICOM IC-7610-Cntl" window), RUMlogNG changes the following two (2) menu settings on the IC-7610:
(1) "CI-V Transceive" gets changed from "OFF" to "ON"; and
(2) "CI-V USB Echo Back" gets changed from "ON" to "OFF".
Unfortunately, when RUMlogNG is shutdown (quit), it does NOT restore those rig settings back to what they were. So, I have to manually go into the rig's menu and re-set them.
I need to re-set them because other software that I use with my IC-7610 requires that they be configured to "CI-V Transceive" = OFF & "CI-V USB Echo Back" = ON. So, the annoyance is that I have to remember to manually reset these settings after RUMlogNG is stopped.
Background. The relevant menu settings are available on the ICOM IC-7610 ham radio transceiver via this navigation:
Turn on the IC-7610;
Depress the "Menu" button on the front panel;
Tap on the "Set" button on the touch-screen;
Select "Connectors"
Select "CI-V"
Select "CI-V Transceive"
-OR-
Select "CI-V USB Echo Back"
