LotW QSL match time slot

Unread post by K8AJS »

In Preferences for QSL matching, for eQSL there is a place for an entry of the desired time slot. For LotW there is not.

Today I had two LotW QSLs that were displayed in red because the time match was off by 1 minute. This is much too close a requirement. Is it possible to change RUMlog to also offer a choice for me to enter a desired tolerance on the time slot for LotW the same as we have for eQSL?

Thank you for your consideration.

This should not be required for LoTW. eQSL returns the log time from your qso partner, LoTW returns always the same time you have uploaded.
Are you using different applications for up- and download?

Well, at this point in time, that's very possible. I've recently come back to RUMlogNG from using the DXLab Suite running in Windows 10 using Parallels on my MacBook Pro. That being the case, I guess I should see less of this discrepancy as time goes on and I get fewer confirmations for pre-ROMlog QSOs.

It may be a difference between start time and end time that I'm seeing, I'll watch it but just make the necessary corrections in QSL status when necessary.

Thanks for your help.
