After a MAJOR crash here, I did a complete reload and to save time
I used the links I posted and they were fine. The ADMIN tools you'll need to just clear the unused and all, I didn't have to give myself access using it.
But remember to enter:
Login: root
Password: (None)

and your good..
So After a Complete Reload of 10.5.5, I'll NOT update to 10.5.6 till the next versiion is out.
Seems there are some issues with the Mighty Mouse and connection ports.

Looked at mysql opened every thing up.

I am not getting this. The program wants me to log in Username and password. So many pass words and names. What are they looking for here?

After a clean MySQL installation the only one username is 'root', and no password given. Let the Password field empty.

I am getting some ambition again. My son is at FT. Bliss, will be shipped to Iraq in April some time. I will not be able to see him until next year some time.

OK, enough of that. MySQL Log-in, what do I insert for Stored Connection: ?
What do I put in for Server Hostname: ? Do I leave Port: 3306 ????
Username: root
Password: (Leave Blank)
What do I put in for Default Schema: ?

Jim,

the Sever Name is 'localhost' and the port is 3306, when you have installed MySQL from the dev.mysql.com website.
Where do you have a "stored connection" selection? Which application are you ask for?

Ok that works, now I just logged in and opened it up. MYSQL seams to be running.

I have no idea what I am doing. I am totally in the dark.

You tell me what to do.

Read the manual 'RUMped.pdf'. On page 7, there is a quick start guide. After that you should read the whole manual and the 'What's New.pdf'.

I must select a default schema. Is there a ham radio one for me to select or what would you recommend or is there just a standard default?

Once again: Where do you have to have to select a "default schema"?
