Apologies, it seems that some files were corrupted.

I went to de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG in Library/Containers, make a copy of de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG.plist file and Application SUpport\de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG files, delete everything and run RUMLogNG 4.4.1 again, then copied de.dl2rum.RUMlogNG.plist to the appropriate place as dx.db file and everything started to work fine

Problem solved, not related to 4.4.1 version.
